The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is a federally funded, means-tested entitlement program that provides
certain low-income individuals and families with a monthly
benefit that they can use to buy food.
The Southeast Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability (SETAAAD) provides free application assistance.

For those Seniors Age 60+, Senior Neighbors offers a congregate meal
program. Hot, nutritionally balanced meals are provided every day
at no cost to participants. Another benefit of the nutrition program is free transportation provided by SETHRA.

Persons 60 years of age or older who are homebound and unable to shop for or prepare meals may be eligible for a home delivered meal. The meal, which may be hot or frozen, is nutritionally balanced.
Approval is required and must be obtained from The Southeast Tennessee Area on Aging and Disability.

Come join the fun! Any adult aged 55 or over is welcome to join our center and participate in the many activities and services available. Everything is free to members. Just fill out an application and submit online or bring it by our facility.
